You promised me the sun and moon
Yet in a flash you left so soon
You promised to love me forever
Yet I discovered your words held no leverage
You made my heart turn into stone
And left me dying all alone
I will never overcome this betrayal
My body and soul have grown frail
How could you be so cold?
And deliver such an evil blow?
I try not to cry
Now that we’ve severed our ties
Our love will drift into oblivion
When will I be whole again?
