  Attention Monterey Trail students!  Several students of Monterey Trail have been in car accidents this year.  Being teenage drivers, we are at a higher risk of getting into car accidents.  While driving remember to be cautious and avoid driving like your Nascar racer, because no one is racing you.  Also, dont be drifting corners when your not a professional! Geez.  Text messaging and calling while driving…its bad!  Is that new text message or phone call really worth it if you get into an accident?  Pull over to the side of the road and do your business…cell phone business.  Let me lay down some statistics for you.  Each year 5,000 teenagers ages 16-20 DIE due to fatal car injuries.  And about 400,000 drivers 16-20 while be seriously injured.  If you dont think this will be you, think again.  Remember, its better to be safe then sorry.
