#13 opens the game with the first score for the Mustangs, and Franklin takes there time to tie as the clock hits 3 minutes. #11 gives a quick attempt as it fails, with #7 following a similar play and result. Laura Button breaks the miss streak as she finds a nice opportunity to score, bringing the Mustangs their second point. Monterey keeps the ball in possession with a series of great passes until Franklin takes it away with the catch of an attempted score.#7 provides a great regain of possession followed by a shot for increasing the score, but no point is gained as Franklin tips the shot off. The final score subsides at 10-2, giving Franklin the win.
