The story of ‘Merida’, is about a young princes, voice by Kelly MacDonald, who as tradition dictates is to be married off to a young prince from one of the three neighboring clans. The movie centers around Merida’s adventurous and independent nature who wants to be able to decide her own fate. This Disney movie is not like other princes movies that have come out in the past.

So if you want your daughter to feel empowered and have a role model, then take her to see this movie and see the young ‘Merida’ take on many challenges and see her over come them and grow from them. And for the dads, if you are a Craig Ferguson fan, he makes an appearance as one of the clan leaders; you are in a for treat. I would recommend watching this movie if you are a fan of Pixar or just have kids here is the excuse you have been looking for to see it.  This one is truly necessary see.
